I only needed to hear Wiz Khalifa once to know he had star power. Back in ’06 I was doing a mixtape series called We Got Now that featured up and coming rappers and Wiz was one of the dudes I recruited for the tape. The Pittsburgh native had a huge buzz in the Burgh so I sort out the then 19 year old to lay some bars for the tape, the result was this exclusive freestyle he did over the “Vato” beat.
