Lil Wayne and DJ Drama really made a statement on this one. They set the bar higher with this throwback mixtape at that time. I think we continued to accept the fact that mixtapes are here to stay, the rest of the upcoming/mainstream dj’s and artists followed this formula, flooding the streets (internet) with raw quality track after track then drop that album and still sell high. Not too many artists, DJ’s collaboration can do what Lil Wayne and DJ Drama does, much respect.
