Chief, the uber-talented songwriter/recording artist began by studying hip-hop with the focus of a combat general, strategically mapping out his moves. That initial move was to join forces with his former partner, Knox (who has gone on to write for Alicia Keys, Will Smith and Tweet), as half of the hip-hop duo The Architects. The group relocated to ATL, to expand their influence, where they took on their mixmaster, now famous DJ Drama well known for his “Gangsta Grillz mixtapes and albums, for which they did intros for his mixtapes, in addition to his performing with them. They performed with artists such as KRS-1, Mobb Deep, Common, Tha Alkaholiks, Brand Nubian and many other rap notables. “From love, life to the street life, GENESIS: THE NEW BEGINNING shows the many sides of Chief Justice.” states Justice “I want to take rap back to its roots by fusing substance with style.” Chief is currently doing shows, preparing to release his first official single “Thanks 2 My Haters”, from his debut album entitled “ONE OF A KIND” due late 2012.
