  • Novatore the interview part 2

Chicago emcee Novatore has just released (digitally) his sophomore studio album titled “Pariah”, a 12 track album of hardcore hip-hop . It is by far his most musically and technically proficient work to date. Novatore has stepped up his flow, rhyme scheme and delivery exponentially. The majority of the album is produced by Nuttkase (from Greece) along with some beats from Nizuk (France) and upcoming Chicago producer Chris Ruben. Physical CD’s and cassettes will be available mid April. Below is a link for puchasing or streaming “Pariah” via Novatores Bandcamp. The album will soon be available on all streaming sites as well as itunes, amazon, etc.

1. Novatore what’s good? It’s been about two years since we last spoke, how’s things your way?

Good. Just staying busy.

2. We see you got this new album that you just dropped digitally. Can you tell us about the direction you went on “Pariah” and how this differs from your earlier works?

As far as content, the direction is similar to myself titled LP, I’m just executing it all way better. I’ve grown a lot since last year. I think I have a better beat selection on here as well.

3. You dropped a video for the first single, “Tragedy”, and you were going in that track. What made you want to choose this record to set the tone for the album?

It’s very dark. I felt it was a good attention grabber. It’s one of my fav beats on there as well.

4. What videos are next off of this album?

I just filmed one for megapowers, the wrestling track. I wanna do videos for pariah, chardonnay, spitfire, and savage after that.

5. Out of all the tracks on here which is your favorite and why?

It’s too hard to say. Throughout the process of recording and mixing my favorite song changes. For now I’ll just say the title track “Pariah” is my fav. That or “Chardonnay”.

6. Lastly, what else do you have planned for the rest of 2017?

I plan to do a collaborative EP with a Chicago producer named Chris Ruben. He did 2 tracks on this album. A side from that just putting out as many videos as possible.

Sounds good. We are looking forward to that! Connect with Nova right here
